The Beginning of It All

I recently got back from my trip to Port-Au-Prince, Haiti this past March and it was incredible. And now here I am, once again! And this time I’ll be gone for a total of 6 weeks! Woo hoo! New Life Children’s Home is the Guest house/Orphanage I stayed at last time, and will stay there again. It is a great organization, and I’m so thankful that they have given me this great opportunity to serve the people of Haiti.  The goal for my trip is three-fold: 1) To work alongside New Life Children’s Home helping Haitians clean up and rebuild their churches and homes, and 2) to encourage and pray for the Haitian people, and 3) to teach music to the children that are currently not in school that stay at the Children’s Home.

I'm hoping the next few months won't be as stressful as I think they're gonna be. Trying to raise $2,200 dollars in 3 months? CRAZY! anyway, I've been trying figure out different ways to fund-raise. If you have any thoughts let me know! I will be having a couple art shows hopefully next month and at the end of July. So I will definitely be keeping people posted about the details for that.
